How do I configure email on my Mac using Apple Mail?

This guide will provide you with detailed instructions to configure your My Hosting Bubble email account on your Apple Mac.

  1. We will start by opening your Apple Mail application,
  2. Click on ‘Mail‘ at the top left-hand side of the screen and then click on ‘Add Account‘ (If you do not currently have any Email accounts set up on Apple Mail you will automatically be taken to the next step when you open the Apple Mail app)

  3. Now click on ‘Add other Account’ and then click on ‘Continue

  4. Here you will need to enter the name of your Account, Email address and Password once you have completed this please click on ‘Sign In

  5. Next we will add the details for your Incoming Mail server and Outgoing Mail Server, please make sure the Account Type is set to ‘IMAP‘, now enter the details for your Incoming Mail Server as imap.myhostingbubble.com, and now enter your Outgoing Mail Server as smtp.myhostingbubble.com, and lastly now enter your User Name, which is your email address, now click ‘Sign In
  6. Finally click ‘Done’ and your Email account is now all set up to use.

Test your email, by sending an email using this link emailtest@myhostingbubble.com and you will receive an email back confirming that your account works.
